This is a really nice faux leather skin that gives your phone a real executive look and I personally think it looks awesome on a white iphone. The skin covers the front, back and sides and all the cut outs are perfect. This skin goes on and you almost wouldn’t know there was a skin on it, except for the fact that the iphone 4 does not come in a leather version yet, who knows, maybe iphone 5 :)
Spotted a great shortcut in iOS 5 that is going to save you some time.
Under settings -> general -> keyboard you can add shortcuts to save you time typing long phrases or commonly used words for you.
I’ve added email addresses to mine to start with for all those pesky logins.
Iphone 4S out today as most of the world knows so was wondering who is in line this morning?

One of my favourite features of iOS 5 is quite hidden away, its called Shortcuts and is found under the General -> Keyboard settings.
It allows you to create shortcuts like typing in ‘OMW’ gets replaced with ‘On my way!’, one I find useful is using my email addresses for all the logins I have to do on a daily basis.

After finally getting iOS 5 installed (took around 3 hours with the constant restarts of my iPhone trying to get to the Apple server and the 1.2 GB of OSX updates).
Now its all installed im loving these new features:
- Notifications
- iMessage
- Photo Stream - especially linking to iPhoto
- Camera shortcut from the lock screen

I picked up a new phone yesterday, was a replacement and came with iOS 4.3.5 so I decided to wait and not put the Beta - wish I had done as the Apple servers are getting slammed.
I cant restore and have a brick at the moment until I can get a successful link through to Apple’s verification servers. Not looking good for iCloud demand but then imagine how many millions of iOS devices are trying to do this now.
