Meizu Has updated its sports headphones lineup with Meizu Ep52 earphone, which is a successor of Meizu EP51, they say that it has been improved in comfortability, sound quality and functions.

It uses Qualcomm CSR8645 Bluetooth 4.1 chip same used in qcy qy-19 which i reviewed earlier with support for Qualcomm aptX audio.

It is also waterproof with IPX5 ratings, IPX5 certified to protect against water and sweat. Its told to be very lightweight earbuds because of its unique design which distributes all excess weight to shoulder.

The battery life has been increased with a 130 mah battery, providing up to 8 hours of continuous music playback and 150 hours on standby. Since it is a pair of sports earphones.

It is also having a unique feature “Hall affect sensor as seen on oldshark x23” just closing the earbuds together can stop the music and hang up the phone call, automatic shutdown after 5 minutes.
