Full-screen 19:9 display with an I-phone style notch
The OPPO R15 is equipped with a 6.28-inch OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9, a resolution of 2280×1080, and a PPI of 401.
Oppo has gone with the ugly trend and kept the screen as close to the physical edges and for camera and sensor, there is a notch that is not as big as an iPhone and not that small as an Essential phone.
Notch is on trend this year and “Hell yes” Oppo has followed this trend. The Screen to body ratio is 90%.
The screen is Samsungs patented AMOLED panel with good display quality. Its contrast max is 400 nits, Screen quality is good but not that great.
As the screen is full, we need to mention two optimizations that R15 does for a full screen: gestures and full-screen multitasking.
Glass Back
Previously Oppo used to have all metal design but this year with Oppo R15 they have glass design. Personally, I don’t prefer the glass at the back because its prone to break but it is useful if a smartphone has a wireless charging ex- Samsung S9.
