It will give tough competition to the new Nokia 7 plus which will start its sale in India on 31st of April. Xiaomi Mi 6X main feature is its Premium processing Chip the Snapdragon 660.
The Indian Markets Q1 2017 and Q1 2018 no.1 company Xiaomi has released a new smartphone in China today. The new smartphone is a successor to Xiaomi Mi 5x or Mi A1 and yes this year too the smartphone is focussed on camera. The new smartphone is named as Xiaomi Mi 6X in China and will be released as Xiaomi Mi A2 or Mi A1 2018 in India early.
On April 25th, Xiaomi held a rather special new product conference at Wuhan University and released the Xiaomi Mobile 6X, this will be both online and offline targeted smartphone. The price starts at only 1599 yuan.

All metal design with 18:9, 5.99-inch Display
Design
Xiaomi Mi 6x back exactly looks same as the Redmi note 5 pros but the only difference is the U shaped antenna lines.
U shaped antenna line looks same like Xiaomi Mi 5x or Mi A1, the antenna part uses a nano-injection process. The upper part of the screen is slightly taller than the middle frame and is thin (only 7.3 mm thick), which makes the Xiaomi Mi 6X feel very light and comfortable.
Xiaomi Mi 6X offers 5 kinds of color options: named Liusha Gold, Cherry Blossom Powder, Glacier Blue, Meteorite Black, and the main red flame.
It has a 5.99-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio with a resolution of 2160×1080 “FHD+”.
Dual rear 12-mp and 20-mp Camera

The rear of the Mi 6X is configured with a dual 12-megapixel and a 20-megapixel. The main camera CMOS is a Sony IMX486, with a single pixel size of 1.25 microns and an aperture of f/1.75.
Xiaomi Mi 6X’s Secondary camera is great. Its CMOS sensor is the Sony IMX376, which is the same as the one plus 5T Secondary camera, with 20 Mega Pixel and the aperture of f/1.75. Like the one plus 5T, this CMOS can be used to blur the depth of field of the images captured. In low light, it can also combine 4 pixels and output 5 Mega Pixel photos with an ultra-large 2.0-micron pixel, thus improving night camera shots.
When shooting portraits, Xiaomi Mi 6X can intelligently select the main shot according to the outside light.
The Xiaomi Mi 6X is also equipped with the AI scene recognition technology same as we have seen in MIX 2S. It can recognize more than 200 scenes such as blue sky, sunrise, green leaves, people etc.
In front, the Xiaomi Mi 6X is equipped with the same 20 Megapixel sensor as the rear sub-camera. It supports the AI beauty and can use the algorithms learned from machine learning to perform the background blur. Xiaomi also claims that 6X can help girls take self-timer portrait shots that look better.
Xiaomi Mi 6x also have automatic photoshopping support and Picture translation support. The translation supports English, French, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish and Indian languages.
It also has a Face unlock.
The Powerhouse: Snapdragon 660

Xiaomi Mi 6X is powered by the Snapdragon 660. On the benchmark side, Xiaomi Mi 6x has recorded 139,697 score which is more than double powerful “75%” than previous Mi 5x or Mi A1.
Last years Mi 5x was powered by the Snapdragon 625.
Mi 6X comes in 64GB memory and 4GB/ 6GB RAM it also has a 128 GB variant which is equipped with 6 GB RAM.
Mi 6X is equipped with 3010 Mah battery that supports fast charging Quick charge 3.0 “18-Watt” support. According to Xiaomi, a 30 minutes charge will gain 50% power. It is also equipped with AI smart powering function.
Talking about the Android version, it will come with the MIUI 9.5 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and Indian variant will be Android one variant, It also comes with a Voice assistant named as Xiao voice.
Price and Release date
64 GB Mi 6X models with 4 GB of RAM will be priced at $250, 6 GB of RAM are respectively priced at $285. 128 GB Xiaomi Mi 6X variant that has 6 GB of RAM carries a price tag of $316.
Xiaomi Mi 6X will be available for purchase in China from 27th of April. In India, it might release in mid-May.
