OnePlus 2 was officially been told about receiving an OTA update to Android 7.0 Nougat. But Unfortunately the device got neglected and last official build of OxygenOS was Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Oneplus 2 ” FLAGSHIP KILLER” owners felt cheated when they knew that the 6.0 Marshmallow was their final update.

Thankfully, the device still has quite the developer support on XDA forums, and developers have just released an early build of LineageOS15 based on Android 8.0 Oreo for the device.

Thanks to Lineage Os team and XDA Recognized Contributor Shreesha.Murthy for upgrading Oneplus 2 to android Oreo via LinageOS 15 that makes it the first device to get it early.
