An official from Motorola just confirmed on Twitter that Android 7.0 Nougat update will be coming to Moto X Play devices in Europe by the end of this month.

The news comes from Motorola’s Deutschland twitter handle. Notably, Motorola also listed the Android 7.0 Nougat as an available upgrade for Moto X Play on their US website a few days earlier.
The Moto Z and Moto G4 have so far seen Android 7.0 updates, but the build that Motorola was testing in that benchmark for the X Play was Android 7.1.1. Hopefully, it’s the latter that rolls out, then, but even if it’s 7.0 owners of the handset probably shouldn’t be angry.
